Prayer Prescriptions is the new book my friend Kate Loving Shenk is releasing in May 2012. It’s just in time too, our world needs all the prayers it can hold.
I met Kate at Squidoo when we were Squid Angels together, a title given to those selected to bless, or boost the rankings of stellar pages on the site. Kate is an angel in real life too, and writes amazing prayers and blogs, which I have been reading since she started her incredible adventure of blogging a prayer every day for a year.
Today I am very happy to host Kate for a stop on her virtual book tour promoting her book, Prayer Prescriptions. I have read every prayer in the book as well as much of Kate’s fantastic commentary. Really, you will love this book and be lighter for reading it. The world needs love and prayers.
Thank you Kate for the gift of your words and your soul.
Thank you Heather Burns for hosting Day 15 of the Virtual Book Tour for Prayer Prescriptions: Spiritual Remedies For Long Lasting Health.
What I mentioned in the video is that prayer practice, or any other spiritual practice, propels you into a higher vibrational field. Consequently, you become less in a state of denial about where you need to be in this world today. You are better able to own up to what it is you are here to do in this world.
Denial no longer is an option.
If you’re being bullied or abused, you can see it immediately for what it is. If there are alcoholics in your life, codependency is no longer an option.
I have been a nurse for 28 years. The problem with the nursing profession is what I call unconscious, unquestioned codependency.
Because I intend to continue practicing nursing, I will call it whenever I see it.
What are the unquestioned conditions that surround you today?
The deeper you get into a prayer practice, it’ll be easier to just walk away.
The book Prayer Prescription:
Spiritual Remedies For Long Lasting Health will be published mid-May.
I will let you all know when that occurs.
